When Will The Great Tribulation Be Halted?

The Bible Clearly reassures us that God will limit the harm Satan and his governments will inflict on mankind. Jesus stated that unless God steps in No Flesh would remain on Earth. The reassurance Chist gave is that God will intervene to protect His Children also known as Christ's brothers.

With the population in the Region of Eight Billion at the start of The Great Tribulation, we can expect the harming of up to two billion men, women and children before God halts the oppression. Why Two Billion?

If we take the limited authority the four evil horsemen are granted at revelation Chapter 6 verse 8, we see that it is one fourth part of the earth, or a quarter of the earth. If we presume that to be a quarter of earth's eight Billion population then Christ can be expected to come as King and along with his Father halt the harm whilst six Billion men, women and children still exist.

8 And I looked, and there was a pale green horse. And its rider was named Death, and the Grave[b] followed closely behind him. They were given power over a quarter of the earth, to kill people with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth. - EHV Bible

Whilst that figure is horrific beyond words, we take comfort that all who are harmed during the Great Oppression will rest sleeping in hades. All in hades will be resurrected to life. Revelation 20 verse 13
