When I Inherit The Kingdom, What Do I Inherit?
Jesus repeatedly made the promise that those who believed in him would inherit THE KINGDOM. According to Revelation 11 verse 15 The Kingdom Christ inherits is Planet earth. He will share this inheritance with his believing “brothers and sisters”. He stated, "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit THE EARTH."
Revelation 5 verses 9 and 10 along with Revelation 20 verse 6 indicate that Christians after being changed to having eternal spiritual bodies will be appointed to help and serve mankind as rulers but not in heaven. They will rule ON ( Greek Epi) THE EARTH. One to one help and support will be given.
Daniel 7 verse 27 makes clear that these Christians will be considered “holy” by means of Christ's blood and that all rulerships will serve and obey these holy ones.
Yes, all existing governments albeit restrained from perpetrating evil will be vassals to Christ's appointed friends.
These Christian Kings will each inherit and therefore own a part of planet Earth and no doubt will be responsible for lovingly shepherding and ruling with Christ-like love those humans living in their region or town or village.
Those who inherit part of the King's domain will own land. They will share this land with those under their care. Isaiah 65 describes how these chosen ones will build houses and enjoy permanent usage of that house. It will not be taken away from them , never lost to foreclosure and no one will ever be evicted due to non payment of rent. The land and property will be owned forever. If the resurrected non-Christians value Earth's new system of rulership and welcome peace and prosperity then they too will enjoy blessings from Christ's sacrifice.
Isaiah 65 describes a centenarian as having the flesh of a boy. Before passing the final test, all former non believers whether resurrected ones or those who survive The Great Oppression will receive help and support and therapy and physical restoration to a standard that no human therapy can reach today. They will have every chance to enjoy life and grow young. Sadly some will later reject this help and as Isaiah describes this could be 100 years into their rehabilitation if their age counts zero from day one of their resurrection. Or if it counts from the age they were when they died then a fifty year old resurrected person would have had 50 years of help and support before deciding to perhaps join the Old restrained rulers in rebelling and seeking to once again perpetrate harm to fellow humans. Isaiah 65 describes how this doing of evil will be swiftly halted and the perps. put to sleep.
Those who pass the final test and enjoy a father-son relationship with God and Earth's owner, Christ will doubtless also enjoy the privilege of owning their own home forever. Everyone will enjoy growing and eating their own produce on soil rich in nutrients and minerals.
Those described in the bible as ones perpetrating some behaviour which offends the creator are described as those who will not inherit part of the Kingdom. Many Christians feel these ones will be either put to death or tortured. Torture that the Israelites perpetrated by burning their children alive as a sacrifice to false gods did not even come up into God's heart so torture or torment is not on the cards. These sinners will not own land....they will not inherit. If parents had two sons but listed only one in their will to inherit land would the other child be killed for not inheriting?
Likewise it is well possible that sinners will receive help and support to enjoy life a different way and be supported all the way if they wish to live in peace with their fellow humans. They may not inherit as do men and women of faith and virtue but they may have a chance to reform. “ 2 Peter 3 verse 9. God desires all to repent.
