Quite the opposite. Psalms 72:14 says, "He will redeem their life from Oppression and fraud and violence. And their blood will be precious in His sight"(Amplified version). This verse demonstrates that rather than causing the violence, the oppression and fraud upon mankind, Christ and his Father HALT the Great Oppression whilst mankind still exists. Matthew chapter 24 and verses 21 and 22 demonstrates that God will halt mankind's oppression of each other. On account of his Chosen ones, baptised Christians who partake of the bread from heaven ( John chapter 6)and wine the tribulation will be cut short!
Revelation describes that many Chosen ones who have washed their robes and made them white with the blood of the lamb will survive the Greatest Oppression in mankind's history: " Then he told me, "these are those who come through the Great Oppression: they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb. That is why they now have their place before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits upon the Throne will be their shelter. They will never again know hunger or thirst. The Sun shall never beat upon them, neither shall there be any scorching heat, for the lamb who is in the center of the throne will be their shepherd and will lead them to the springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes" (Revelation chapter 7 verse 14 Philips version ).
Whilst Revelation chapter 7 verse 14 describes Christians surviving the Great Tribulation, will they be the only ones who survive the Great Tribulation? No. Psalms chapter 72 describes how Christ feels sorry for the poor one, EVERYONE (not just Christians) has no helper their blood will be precious in his eyes.
"he helps everyone who is poor and in need" Psalms 72:12 ( Contemporary English Version )
