Revelation 16 verses 14 to 16 describes human Governments uniting in opposition to God's rulership.
WE know according to Psalm 72 that Christ intervenes in man's affairs to halt A/ Violence, B/ Oppression and C/ Fraud.
We Know from this Psalm that not only the blood of Christians but of all surviving mankind will be precious in Christ's eyes.
We know that Christ intervenes to HALT the Worst ever Oppression and Tribulation on mankind. ( Matthew 24 verses 21 and 22) Hence Christ does not intervene with violence to kill all humans who are not Christian. He lovingly desires to resurrect humans who are unrighteous...Acts 24:15 Why would he treat any deeply traumatized Great Oppression non believing survivor in a discriminatory manner? Why would a King of Peace kill the oppression survivors yet re-create dead non believers? HELLO does this mentality sound Like the loving, caring, supportive Man who walked the earth healing minds and bodies?
He halts the violence in a peaceful yet extremely powerful way. Christ's army of not only angels but humans he has changed to being immortal with spiritual bodies are ready to restrain, chain, manacle, rope down all of the killing and harming of humans. The power given to the angels and brothers and sisters of Christ will be superhuman and therefore will be way, way more powerful than all human weapons.
Christ's rulership starts when he comes back to earth and restrains the human rulerships.
Since Psalm 110 identifies that Christ will rule the earth whilst his enemies still exist ( he rules in the midst of his enemies) We can clearly understand that the battle of human rulers versus Christ and his Father does not occur when Christ first comes back to Earth.
At this early stage of Christ forming a new Global Government not only are the human rulers still alive but so are Satan and his fallen Angels.
These fallen angels later stir up the rulers to unite in the desire to return to killing and harming mankind and their wish according to Psalm 2 is to overthrow Christ's gentle reign of the earth.
Specifically because the human rulers are superhumanly restrained they later tire of their Superhuman restraints and desire to throw away the restrains. The Kings cannot seek to extricate themselves from Superhuman restraints if indeed they are not restrained! As of Writing in December 2021, not one Ruler of earth has yet been divinely restrained from perpetrating evil. Hence Christ's restraining of these rulers very clearly takes place when Christ comes back to Earth to take up rulership.
Every year that the rulers are forced to observe the Peaceful manner in which Christ rules mankind they learn a better way of doing things. Imagine an evil king who killed many fellow humans seeing these murder victims return to life again. No harm that any human can perpetrate on other humans is too difficult for Christ to reverse since Revelation 6 describes the victims of Killing, Food shortage and plague being safely resting in Hades. Every soul sleeping peacefully in hades will be resurrected back to earth according to Revelation 20 verse 13.
Armageddon is a word used to describe a confrontation. Neither God nor Christ initiate this confrontation. According to Psalm 2, even when the Kings start discussing overthrow of the restrictions....( obviously they are still alive at this time).... God cautions them to wake up to reality and allow themselves to be corrected. When the rebellion reaches the point of going beyond saber rattling then it is clearly in the interests of all peace loving humans that God defends the peace and safety that has been established. The restrained rulers clearly do not love peace and as soon as humans are relishing true peace then destruction will have to take place to secure this state of true peace as the rulers desire to create havoc and resume their war on humans.
The expressions inspired by demons ( Rev 16) encourage the leaders to vainly attempt to throw off their restraints.
Christ will meet force with force and yes there will be a war to destroy the perpetrators of violence along with their supporters. This is not population reduction as in a genocide. It is a response to Maintain the new state of Global Peace. No individual person who loves peace and righteousness will be harmed in this very necessary response to a confrontation. Jeremiah 33:25,
Ezekiel describes the desire to destroy the Peaceful living Christ has installed, 10 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. 11 You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. THE RESPONSE To This Threat....21 I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. 23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’ NIV Bible
Revelation 19: 17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he called with a loud voice to all the birds flying in the sky: “Come and gather together for the great feast of God 18 so that you can eat the bodies of kings, generals, mighty people, horses and their riders, and the bodies of all people—free, slave, small, and great.”19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth. Their armies were gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20 But the beast was captured and with him the false prophet who did the miracles for the beast. The false prophet had used these miracles to trick those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his idol. The false prophet and the beast were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. 21 And their armies were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds ate the bodies until they were full. There will be those who refuse to OBEY Christ's new Rulership. Whilst recognizing and enjoying the Peace which he has created, they have no desire to support Christ in maintaining a Global family of happy, well fed, cared for souls. Christ reads their hearts and their desires to oppose his work.
These folk who wish to undermine the foundation on which this Glorious peace exists will be caught out and also be removed.
Paul describes Christ taking action against those who reject his Light and who prefer ways of darkness. I Thessalonian 5: 1-8 . I don’t think, friends, that I need to deal with the question of when all this is going to happen. You know as well as I that the day of the Master’s coming can’t be posted on our calendars. He won’t call ahead and make an appointment any more than a burglar would. About the time everybody’s walking around complacently, congratulating each other—“We’ve sure got it made! Now we can take it easy!”—suddenly everything will fall apart. It’s going to come as suddenly and inescapably as birth pangs to a pregnant woman. But friends, you’re not in the dark, so how could you be taken off guard by any of this? You’re sons of Light, daughters of Day. We live under wide open skies and know where we stand. So let’s not sleepwalk through life like those others. Let’s keep our eyes open and be smart. People sleep at night and get drunk at night. But not us! Since we’re creatures of Day, let’s act like it. Walk out into the daylight sober, dressed up in faith, love, and the hope of salvation. The Message Translation
I Thess 5 verses 2 to 4 2 You know ·very well [accurately] that the ·day the Lord comes again [L day of the Lord; C the time of Christ’s return and the judgments associated with it] will ·be a surprise, like a thief that comes in the night [L come like a thief in the night]. 3 While people are saying, “·We have peace and we are safe [L Peace and safety/security],” they will be destroyed ·quickly [suddenly]. It is like pains that come quickly to a woman having a baby. Those people will not escape. 4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not ·living in darkness [L in darkness], and so that day will not ·surprise you [or overtake you] like a thief. Expanded Bible
2 Thessalonians 1 verses 6 to 9:
6 For it is a righteous thing with God to repay those who trouble you with tribulation.7 And to you who are troubled: rest with us when the Lord Jesus shall show Himself from Heaven with His mighty angels8 in flaming fire, rendering vengeance on those who do not know God and who do not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ;9 who shall be punished with everlasting perdition from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. Isaiah describes the Peace Christ creates. However some people are unreformable. They love the peace, they cherish the Youthfulness they enjoy.
A person who has reached 100 years of age yet enjoys the vitality and youthfulness of a boy has clearly been healed by priests working hard to help him physically, emotionally and spiritually. ( Revelation 5 verses 9 and 10)
This person may have been 50 years old when he survived through the Great Tribulation. He is not a brother of Christ yet has been extended fifty years of help and has seen himself return to youth and enjoy great health. He is now 100 years of age. At this point in time he chooses not to be a sheep, not to be grateful for all the decades of love, care and support shown to him.
He is not a mindless robot. He has free will and chooses to do harm and evil to fellow citizens. As a result he is classed as "Accursed" and will be put to sleep, put to death and no resurrection will be offered. God will allow no one to perpetrate harm or ruin in this new society.
Such a person relishes the peace and the security of their new life yet opposes Christ.
Isaiah 65
20 “No longer will babies die when only a few days old. No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life.No longer will people be considered old at one hundred! Only the cursed will die that young!21 In those days people will live in the houses they build and eat the fruit of their own vineyards.22 Unlike the past, invaders will not take their houses and confiscate their vineyards.For my people will live as long as trees, and my chosen ones will have time to enjoy their hard-won gains.23 They will not work in vain, and their children will not be doomed to misfortune.For they are people blessed by the Lord, and their children, too, will be blessed.24 I will answer them before they even call to me.
